In partnership with Krush Coaching
From Awareness to Action.
A strengths-based DISC certification for The Coaching Corner community: using behavioural insight to develop intentional choice, flexibility and change. One live day, twelve places, a recognised practitioner designation, and a community rate of £297 instead of the usual £497.
Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change.
That is the philosophy the whole day is built on. DISC is not about putting people in boxes. It is about noticing behaviour, naming it kindly, and opening up choices that were invisible before.
Why this collaboration
A psychological approach to psychological assessment.
Most profiling training teaches you to read a report. This is a collaboration between two psychologists, so the day is spent on the harder and far more useful part: what the profile actually means for a person, how to explore it safely, and what changes on Monday morning as a result.
The programme
A full day that turns insight into practice.
One live day, once a year
Friday 6 November 2026, 9.30am to 5.00pm UK, delivered live and virtually. Interactive and applied, with a proper lunch break and two shorter pauses.
A deliberately small cohort
Capped at 12 places so everyone practises and everyone is seen. You will work with the PeopleKeys DISC instrument, supplied through Krush Coaching.
A named certification
You finish as a Krush Coaching Certified DISC Practitioner, with up to 60 minutes of individual implementation support with Krush after the course, as one session or two, subject to availability.
Who it is for
For our coaches, and only our coaches.
This cohort is open to The Coaching Corner community: coaches training with us now, and coaches already qualified with us. It is built for people who want to add a robust, credible tool to their toolkit, and it assumes the coaching skill you already have rather than teaching it again.
- Administer and interpret a PeopleKeys DISC profile with proper attention to pattern, context and individual variation
- Facilitate a structured, psychologically safe debrief, as a conversation rather than a verdict
- Explore strengths, motivators, fears and overplayed strengths through a strengths-based lens
- Help a client turn behavioural awareness into intentional choices and real experiments
- Recognise and challenge stereotyping, and know where DISC should not be used
The method
The language that makes it stick.
Krush teaches DISC through a framework her participants remember long after the day, and which gives you a kind way to raise hard things with a client.
Superpowers
The natural behavioural strengths someone brings, and the contribution those strengths make when they are used well.
Motivators
The conditions and experiences that create energy, engagement and momentum for that person.
Kryptonite
The fears, pressures or unmet needs that unsettle someone and can trigger a less effective response.
Overplayed strengths
The point where a real strength is used too hard or in the wrong moment, and decisiveness starts to read as dominance.
Borrowed powers
Behaviours outside someone's usual preference that they can consciously practise when the situation calls for something different.
Heroic flexibility
Staying entirely yourself while choosing from a wider range of responses. This is the goal, not becoming a different type.
The metaphor is there to invite curiosity and recall, never to trivialise complexity. Underneath it sits careful interpretation.
The day itself
Understand, observe, practise, consolidate.
Understand
Build a reliable foundation: the four preferences, combinations, intensity, context, and the honest limits of the framework.
Observe
See how a real profile is interpreted and debriefed, including the language and questions that turn a report into insight.
Practise
Work with another coach in breakout rooms, using real profiles, testing how DISC fits into a coaching conversation.
Consolidate
Feedback, questions, ethical boundaries, and a plan for how you will use it with your own clients.
Your DISC link arrives about two weeks beforehand. You complete your own profile and the short pre-work at least five working days before the day, and bring a real coaching situation where DISC could help.
What you take home
Everything you need to start using it.
You finish as a Krush Coaching Certified DISC Practitioner, with the resources and the portal access to put it to work in your own practice straight away.
- Your own PeopleKeys DISC profile and personal report
- Participant workbook and Superhero reference guide
- Debrief framework, coaching-question bank and interpretation checklist
- Ethical-use guide and a practical application plan
- A secure portal login, so you can run profiles branded for your own business
- Up to 60 minutes of one-to-one implementation support with Krush
Your trainer
Learn DISC from someone who trains the trainers.
The certification is designed, delivered and certified by Krush Makwana: DISC expert and licensed trainer, Business Psychologist, executive and leadership coach, and founder of Krush Coaching. She co-delivers The Coaching Academy's DISC Licensed Trainer programme, holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology with Distinction alongside Level A and Level B psychometric qualifications, and is a Strengthscope Master Practitioner.
She brings more than 15 years of experience, with Krush Coaching now in its second decade, and a teaching style that is interactive, applied and generous. You will not sit through slides all day. You will practise.
How we teach DISC, honestly
DISC is a framework for exploring behavioural preferences and observable tendencies. It provides useful language and hypotheses for reflection, but it does not capture the whole person, diagnose psychological conditions or determine capability or potential. Insight should always be interpreted collaboratively and in context.
You will be certified to use it exactly that way: as a starting point for a better conversation, never a label, and never a prediction about who will succeed. Strengths-based does not mean challenge-free either. The day makes room for blind spots, overuse and accountability, approached with curiosity rather than judgement.

The DISC Certification is designed, delivered and certified by Krush Coaching, led by DISC Expert and Licensed Trainer Krush Makwana, and offered here in partnership with The Coaching Corner.
